Head2Head School Improvement is an Independent Educational Consultancy established in September 2013 by Ross McMurdo, an experienced Headteacher.

Ross has led 3 Primary Schools giving him a wealth of leadership and management experience in the Primary education sector. This has given Ross insight into all areas of school improvement which he can use to support all members of staff in a wide range of areas.

Ross has extensive knowledge and understanding of working with the Ofsted agenda having taken East Ward Community Primary School from Special Measures to a grade of good with some outstanding features within 3 years.

Since establishing H2HSI in 2013, Ross has worked with a wide range of schools across Greater Manchester as well as working as a consultant with the National Governance Association and working with Edge Hill University’s Faculty of Education on a range of Degree and PGCE programmes.
